Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I’m so totally inspired by these gorgeous corals images that I found on Pinterest this weekend. I’m dying to do a whole room in coral and drape my self in coral and drink coral colored drinks! You can pair it with blue, green, red and cream and it’s the perfect punch for spring. Follow me on Pinterest to see what color is my next obsession!
Hunker down!
I’m Loving
I love this hat! I love to wear hats too think they are fun. You? It’s always a little akward when you go inside. Do I take it off while rolling the isles of Target or do I look like I’m going to rob the place?
Everything is so BROWN here. I’m nervous things are not going to come back this spring or my water bill if going to be a bazilion dollars! I’m craving a little colored vegetation
I can’t get enough of this glossy green kitchen by Bailey of Peppermint Bliss featured in the latest issue of Matchbook
Such a risk to make the move from white to green but it totally pays off, Girl got guts!
The bun. Who on earth would have thought the bun would be popular? I do love this fad although I’m kind of struggling with it though not so good at pulling off the oh I just threw this up look. I think my hair is too short and my bun it too small for my head!
Ok so here’s my healthy 2 cents as I’m trying here in 2013. avocado and kale salad. Yum! Tip: spoon the avocado into some chopped kale and work it in with your hands then add the res of you salad fixins. Makes all the difference!
Snap shots of last week
Busy week last week!
A sweet little girl got some fun wallpaper
Installed some beautiful drapes
Coming close to finishing this room up
Installed some more wallpaper
Scoped out some carpet
Looked at lots of beautiful fabrics
Checked out some light fixtures
Pier 1 who knew?
Picked out some tile for a master bath
And couldn’t help but love these two little friends watch tv…
Room of the week
Love this girly bathroom featured in the Rue MAgazine last year. It looks like a totally chic sanctuary. Can you imagine taking a bath surrounded by the curtains? I can! Not that I’m not totally in love with my bathroom but put this one under the dream file one day when I have my very own bathroom. Happy weekend!
Let’s Dance
Oh yes the disco ball is a new trend I’m seeing out there. Fun right? What a great way to make beautiful light “dance” all over the room. Honestly why not jump on the band wagon when you can buy one for $15? It could be worth a try and something sure to be a younger crowd pleaser.
Pretty
Sorry for the “pretty” post. I’ve been in bed all weekend with one of the lovely viruses that is sweeping the country. Yeah! I hate starting a Monday like this. Hope your Monday is off to a better start.
Canopy
What little girl doesn’t want a canopy bed? What big girl doesn’t want one for that matter? I think they are just divine. I had a pretty little white one when I was in first grade I remember sing and dancing around like I was in the Sound of Music. It mysteriously did not make it when we moved. Hmmm. If I had the height in my bedroom I would be all over it. Did/Do you have a canopy bed?
Wild Chairy
I am full on lusting after these fantastic chairs produced by Andrea Mahalik of Wild Chairy! She embraces the shapes of the chair playing it up with unique patterns and textures. Andrea hand-crafts each piece using high-quality sustainable materials like horse hair, Italian twine, organic cotton, and hand tied springs. Often time, the chairs that come to her are picked up off the street, found by friends and family, or picked up at estate auctions. One of these fabulous chairs would be the show stopper of any room. Love!
Sonny Bench
I’m loving this Sonny yellow bench from Crate and Barrel. Dying to use it some capacity! Who needs a bench?
